How To Use Bobbin Buddies
The Simple Little Tools That Make A Big Difference In Sewing OrganizationOrganizing your threads is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
These three simple steps show how to use Bobbin Buddies to help eliminate sewing chaos.

Step1: Insert Bobbin Buddy into Bobbin
The First step for how to use your Bobbin Buddies is to press the arms of your Bobbin Buddy so that the teeth on opposite arms meet. You can optionally use the teeth to hold the end of the bobbin’s thread, as this will hold your thread in place. Insert the ends of the arms into the center hole of your bobbin. Push the bobbin through the hole until the bobbin contacts the tear drop loop at the top of the Bobbin Buddy. There is typically a good amount of friction while pushing your bobbin onto the Bobbin Buddy, this is normal and will ensure your bobbin stays firmly attached to your spool.

Step2: Insert Bobbin Buddy into Spool
After your bobbin is securely in place, again press the arms of your bobbin buddy together so the teeth meet. You can also optionally place the end of the spools thread in the teeth before pressing them together. Insert the end of the arms into the center hole of your matching spool of thread. Push the Bobbin Buddy fully into the spool. For most spools it should have a significant amount of tension and firmly hold your bobbin in place for organized spool and bobbin storage.

Step3: Store Bobbin and Spool Together
Once your bobbin and spool of similar threads are mated together with your Bobbin Buddy you can easily store them. Place them on a shelf, or hang them from the tear drop loop. Wherever you store them they will stay together. So when you are ready to use a color of thread, both the spool and bobbin are right where you need them.
